Sergio+Noelia

Sergio and Noelia are a couple with a great sense of humor (he is stand-up writer for the Paramont Comedy channel). Their comedy is not pretentious and they approached their wedding planning with the same humor and a very clear desire to be themselves. When they asked us to help with the invitation, we designed a card that reflected the non-conventional and whimsical wedding to be. The photocopied and brightly colored images tell the couple's story, from where they grew up, to how they met, and even includes the spot where the wedding will be held. This almost crude imagery is printed on a pearlescent and textured paper, one that expresses a sense of glamor that we also plan to see during the ceremony.

David Pàmies Millán

David Pàmies is a financial consultant and professor at the ESADE. As a younger member of his professional community, we immediately recalled a the business card competition scene of "American Psycho". Using this scene as our inspiration, we wanted to create a card that would make an impression. We came up with a white silkscreen print typography on thin sheets of oiled, real walnut. It is by far the most expensive businesscard we have ever designed!

Cadavre

Cadavre is a project by Julien Arts, a young graphic designer from the Netherlands. He invited seven international designers and offices to create indvidual letters, which would be combined into a poster reflecting the "Cadavre Exquis" principles. Since we liked our letter and its countless versions so much, we eventually made an entire typeface out of it.

TpLlum

TpLlum is a typeface that we designed for the festival Montjuïc de Nit. Llum means light in Catalan. Because it is used over a dark background, it was important that the typeface is very bright, made possible by its heavy cut. It works especially well when backlit.

IdN

"Money, time and content are the most important factors to take into consideration when it comes to exhibition design." So say Martin Lorenz and Lupi Asensio of TwoPoints.Net, whose name is explained thus: "We were looking for a name that could reflect the function of design, without overloading the name with significance. We came up with the figure ":", because it connects the author with the message. ..."

CatK

For our friends Color and the Kids we first asked ourselves, "How could we create a design for other designers?" In answer to this challenge, we developed a grid format-based corporate identity, a kind of formwork that established its own character, but was flexible enough so that the designers could then customize the "infill" in whatever manner they desired. Looking at the results, it has been a very interesting match-up of designers versus designers...

Verb Crisis

Verb Crisis examines architectural solutions to the extraordinary conditions of an increasingly dense and interdependent world. It presents innovative projects and research through original photos, essays, and exclusive interviews with key figures from architecture and urban planning to environmental, economic, and global affairs. Confronted by shifting densities and uncharted urban transformations, Crisis tackles the conflict between the physical limits of architectural design and the demands on the practice for an updated social relevance. TwoPoints.Net designed not only the book, but a flexible visual system that they editors could easily work with, a quality that was a significant advantage in helping to communicate the complex layers of information.
